Student Association Elections
The ACU National Student Association (ACUNSA) governs each of the six local Campus Student Associations and is responsible for the development and implementation of Constitutional arrangements with regards to Student Association Elections.
Each Campus Student Association has appointed an independent returning officer who is responsible for overseeing the elections as per current Election Regulations outlined in the Student Association Constitution.

Below is a timeline, outlining the process for elections. Also included on this page are the Position Descriptions for each Executive Position.
2009 Election Timeline:
- Week 6 - 7 (31st Aug - 11th Sept): Nomination Open
- Week 8 (14th - 18th Sept): Stand Down and drawing up of ballot (no campaigning to take place)
- Week 9 (21st - 25th Sept): Campaigning, Voting commences
- Mid-Semester Break (28th Sept - 2nd Oct)
- Week 10 (5th - 9th Oct): Continuation of Voting, Voting concludes Friday 3PM
- Week 11 (12th October): Official announcement of successful candidates by Returning officer
