Committee

ASA is made of four executive office bearers and three reps from each course and each year level. Our student association is divided into three sub committees: Social, Sports and St Vinnies.

Social Committee

Our active Social Committee organizes many great events throughout the year, everything from O Week, year-level nights, awards nights to our annual “Pebbles” and "Boulders" ball and lots of other exciting events in between. We cater for all students' needs and our main aim is to ensure that lots of fun is had! All ideas and suggestions are always welcome.

Sport Committee

This committee is responsible for organizing various recreational activities on campus throughout the year. These activities include social sporting events; multi sports nights, Southern University Games and ACU National Games. Aquinas is the home of the "Iguana".

If there is sport that you are interesting in playing, please contact the student association so that they can organize a competition or team for you.
The sports committee is also responsible for organize the Iguana jumpers, you may have seen these around campus. Please contact the association if you wish to purchase a jumper.

St Vinnies Committee

Our very active group runs two kids' campus a year for disadvantaged children in the Ballarat community as well as kids days, family days and other activities. They are greatly enjoyed by the children and too by the students participating as leaders. This provides a great opportunity to get involved with the wider community as well as make a difference to someone’s live.
